Thurs Oct 16: Finish up and upload!

Greetings, happy noisemakers!

Today, we will be working on three things:

A) Getting the rest of you through the Radio room next door for some 5 minute recording sessions. Those of you whose recordings I actually have are in this folder:

Zach DiFranza and Mike Cronin
Ben Greff and Tyler Sullivan
Keith Bohlin Trevor Flaxman Jeff Dufficy

If for some reason you have done a five minute recording already and are concerned that you are not listed here, please let me know so that we can find it. The rest of you NEED TO GET THIS DONE!


B) You will also be setting up the script for the "on air announcement" of who you are, the name of your group and (with any luck) your on air slogan. A good example of what something like that might sound like is right here:

If we have time today, each group will start recording those identifying announcements; if we run out of time, then that what tomorrow is for. Either way, start writing up a Discussion post about what your "on air identifier" will actually say. Write it out like a script, so you can just go next door and slam it out!

C) Last but not least, you need to start arranging the recording sessions you already have along with your theme song into a new session file. You can do that here in the lab and when you are finished, you can export it as an mp3 file. Name it after your group members plus the phrase "radio show first draft"
