Friday January 9: finishing scripts, getting studio time, starting to put together a"rough draft"

Greetings, RADIO 3!

Before I begin with the "new stuff" for today, I need to point out that at least half of you have not sent me an email stating what your "on air identifier" will be, and there are similar numbers for having SELECTED a theme song, and notified me by email which it would be. That needs to be done ASAP.

Also, once you've chosen a theme song, you need to get the actual file, and select a piece of it not less than 30 seconds and no longer than 55 seconds. That selection must be saved as an mp3 type file, and then uploaded to me on Box.net. PLEASE NAME IT in such a way that I know who it belongs to. If I have to guess, I will simply delete it and have you start over.

I am also still awaiting scripts from many of you (see yesterday's post).

NOW FOR THE NEW STUFF
If you are caught up with all of this, then you need to get next door, and start recording both your on-air identifier AS A SEPARATE FILE. Please upload it to Box.net, and make sure it is CLEARLY LABELED. If I have to guess, I'm tossing it out.

If there is time, then you may begin recording some part of your broadcast; this is not necessary for today though
